Submission Guidelines
The rules for submitting your articles with videos included to VuHow.com are simple, yet they need to be followed for your article submissions to be approved!
- The articles on ”how to” that you submit must be your own <i>written work</i> or you must have copyright permission. The content must be unique. Any “how to” videos, podcasts, mp3’s or other media that are submitted, may be used only if the creator allows “sharing” — for instance, most videos on youtube.com allow sharing and give you an embedding code to do so.
- By submitting your information to VuHow.com, you grant us the right to publish your articles – We may publish your article anywhere on our website or syndicate through RSS. We may also change where it appears, including the category, at any time.
- By submitting your articles and media to VuHow.com, you grant others the right to publish your articles – Other VuHow.com users have the right to publish your articles and media on their websites, in their newsletters or ezines, and more as long as the article is left in the original state and includes any links. This includes the resource box which provides credit as the author of the content.
- Submitting your articles and or media to VuHow.com does not entitle you to financial compensation of any kind – You will not receive compensation from VuHow.com or the users of our directory for articles + videos you submit.
- Submitting an article and or media in no ways guarantees inclusion in our directory – We reserve the right to reject and delete an article submission for any reason.
- Articles must be spellchecked and proof read for grammatical errors prior to submitting – Do not submit articles filled with spelling errors and bad grammar. We do monitor article submissions and we will reject content that does not meet this requirement.
- Articles must be at least 250 words and no more than 700 words. If your article+video post exceeds 700 words, then please separate it into two (or more) posts. Keyword / Keyword phrase density should not exceed 5%. If you have your own video or other media, simply use the embed code for your video when you post your article.
- Articles must be assigned to an appropriate category and they must have at least 3 tags yet no more than 6 tags assigned or the pending articles will be automatically deleted.
